Sitting in the Power is a structured meditation designed to help you become more consciously aware of the spirit within.
This practice is not about seeking external phenomena. It is about cultivating steadiness, inner presence, and familiarity with your own spiritual centre.
Over time, it supports clarity, confidence, and an embodied sense of spiritual identity.
sit upright and still, grounded through your physical body
regulate your breath gently and naturally
allow everyday thoughts to settle without engagement
bring your awareness inward toward your centre
connect consciously with the inner light or spirit within
As the meditation develops, awareness expands — first strengthening your own sense of inner presence, then extending beyond the self toward a wider field of spiritual connection.
The structure is intentional. It moves gradually from grounding, to inner awareness, to expansion, and finally to reorientation and return.
There is no pressure to experience anything dramatic. Steadiness and familiarity matter far more than intensity.
What You May Notice Over Time
With consistent attendance, Sitting in the Power can support:
greater calm and emotional regulation
increased clarity and self-trust
stronger intuitive awareness
deeper spiritual identity
a more settled presence in daily life
The benefits are cumulative. Change often appears subtly at first, in steadiness, perception, or quiet confidence rather than in overt experiences.
This meditation is based on the understanding that:
spiritual strength develops through repetition
presence is cultivated, not forced
power is something to become familiar with, not something to chase
As described in the traditional structure of this meditation Sitting in the power, the process encourages connection to the inner spark of spirit, expansion into a wider field of spiritual awareness, and a conscious return to everyday embodiment.
It is both grounding and elevating.
