Dr Vicki Haspels - Sitting In The Power 300326

    Session Overview
The session opens with a warm conversation about the practicalities of meditation of sitting vs. lying down, posture, grounding, and what "Sitting in the Power" is designed to do.

I explain that this style of meditation differs from relaxation-focused practices in that it's done consciously and upright, with the intention of actively opening your energy field and becoming comfortable with spirit energy. I also touch on the long-term benefits of regular practice and how it gradually becomes your default way of responding to the world, regulates your nervous system, clears energetic blocks, and builds your spiritual frequency over time, with the encouraging note that any progress you make is permanently held as your new baseline, even if you take a break.

The meditation itself is a full-body guided journey that begins with deep, deliberate breath work to settle the nervous system, then moves to a body scan with healing white light travelling from the crown of the head all the way through the limbs, organs, spine, and down to the feet and earth below. The energy is unconditional love that gently releases whatever is ready to be let go  eg. physical tension, emotional residue, past memories.

From there, the meditation expands outward, guiding you to grow your personal energy field far beyond the body, out into the world, the universe, and the infinite, ultimately blending with the greater light of spirit, your higher self and sitting in that power for a period of silent connection.

When we returned it was shared afterwards that one participant had an unexpected connection with a younger version of themselves, offering love, grace, and compassion for a time when they didn't know they’d arrive where they are now. This was described as "healing the past." They also noted feeling a strong buzz or charge through their fingers during the energy-in-hands portion, a new physical sensation for them.

I then shared my own experience about reconnecting with my son after 15 years, and how the meditation landed differently for me too. This is a gentle reminder that even the most practiced meditator continues to grow.

The session closed with encouragement to keep a record of their experiences and how beneficial we all felt afterwards

    Channelled Meditation - 23rd March, 2026

A summary of the discussion after the live meditation:

We discussed difficulty with visual imagery but a strong connection to feelings, colours, and sensations. This becomes a key point: the emphasis shifts away from needing clear visuals and toward trusting felt experience as equally, if not more, meaningful.

"A" shared how they entered the “present” (baby blue) portal, despite initially resisting it, which is interpreted as the soul directing attention to what is most relevant now. The imagery of spring, light colours, and playfulness is explored as symbolic of new beginnings, growth, and fresh energy entering their life, reinforcing the importance of staying grounded in the present rather than seeking answers in the future.

The discussion then moves into how the meditation was facilitated. I explain that the process is guided by intuitive prompts and internal visuals that arise during the session, rather than a fixed script. The structure begins with breath, followed by energetic clearing, expansion to the higher self, and then returning to a “soul space,” which I describe as the working space for readings and healing. Any participants experience is framed as self-led, with me providing conditions rather than directing their personal journey. This marks a shift toward them taking ownership of their connection, perception, and interpretation of energy.

A core theme is learning to sit with internal experiences without forcing meaning. I describe using the space yourself to observe discomfort, past patterns, and emotional responses without needing to immediately resolve them. The idea of “tokens” or symbolic gifts (such as crystals or the participant seeing money) is introduced as a way the experience communicates reassurance or alignment, rather than something to analyse or doubt. "A's" feeling of abundance is validated as relevant to their current needs, especially around reassurance and flow.

The conversation closes on integration and personal responsibility. The meditation is positioned as a tool for developing self-trust, emotional awareness, and the ability to navigate energy independently. I emphasise that this work can feel disruptive at times, as it brings underlying patterns to the surface, but continued practice helps stabilise and integrate those shifts.

We are encouraged to remain present, as this is where change and opportunity occur, and to recognise that they have more agency in their internal and energetic experience than they may realise.

    Intention Setting - 230326

Integrity is not something we perform or declare. It is something we recognise in the moments where everything within us lines up without effort.

Thought, word, action, and value move as one, and in that alignment there is no fear, no second-guessing, no need to justify. It is quiet, steady, and often only recognised in hindsight.

When we are in integrity, we act from a deeper knowing that does not come from logic or past experience, but from a place within that is certain. When we are out of alignment, the body signals it first through tension, discomfort, or exhaustion.

Life begins to feel off, not because something external is wrong, but because something internal is no longer true. The work, then, is not to force clarity, but to create the space where that inner truth can be heard.

Living in integrity requires a willingness to move beyond the mind’s need for safety and into the heart’s quieter authority.

It is built through experience, through moments of getting it wrong, and through the gradual recognition of what is right.

Support, reflection, and daily practices that regulate the nervous system become part of that process, not as solutions, but as stabilisers that allow truth to surface.

Over time, integrity becomes less of a decision and more of a way of being. It moves from effort into embodiment. When that happens, action becomes clean and immediate, and life begins to organise itself around that alignment.

What starts as a personal commitment to self becomes something that naturally extends outward, influencing relationships, community, and the wider world. Not through force, but through coherence.

We Cannot Change What We Do Not Accept

    16th March, 2026

The paradox of control is this: true control comes from surrendering it.

When we accept that many things in life are beyond our influence and stop fighting that reality, we conserve energy for the things we actually can affect, and in doing so, we act with far greater clarity and power.

This same principle applies to spiritual practices like protection rituals, where releasing our fixed expectations of the outcome allows that energy to work intelligently on our behalf.

Effortless meditation is a direct training ground for this paradox, it teaches us to recognise the signs that we're over-controlling (stress, anger, overthinking, rumination) and guides us back to surrender.

Like a river finding its natural path around obstacles, life flows best when we stop trying to dam or redirect it, and instead move with it, present, conserved, and ready to act when it truly matters.

To let go is to grieve. To let go is to acknowledge limits. To let go is to trust that you don’t need to know the whole path in order to take the next step. In this sense, letting go is both a psychological process and a mystical orientation. It invites humility, honesty, and presence. It asks us to stop performing control and to start participating in the living texture of our own lives.

In the end, letting go might be the most courageous thing we ever do. Not because it’s easy, but because it’s real. And reality, when we stop resisting it, has a way of carrying us exactly where we need to go.

Sitting In The Power 12th March, 2026

This is a guided meditation session led by Dr. Vicki Haspels (the Tarot Coach) for a group called "Meditation for All."

The session centres on the theme of courage — defined as quiet inner fortitude and the willingness to act despite discomfort — which participants are invited to hold as an intention before letting it go and dropping into the practice.

The meditation itself guides participants through deep belly breathing, a body scan using an imagined silver-white ball of light that travels through the body releasing tension, grounding into the earth's energy, and then expanding outward to connect with a greater universal light or spirit.

After the meditation, Dr. Vicki briefly reflects on the experience.
Dr. Vicki shares that some of the imagery — particularly the grounding loop connecting to the earth and expanding into the light — came to her spontaneously during the session, which she describes as partly channeled. She notes that future sessions will follow the same core structure but may use different imagery, and that next week's session will be a fully channeled meditation.
