This Week's Energy: Knights in Action ~ From The Weekly Forecast 1-7 April, 2024

    Image description
We enter a decisive week, marked by the presence of two Knight cards, a call to action! Time to shed contemplation and embrace initiative.

The INFLUENCE CARD - KNIGHT OF SWORDS is decisive decision making.

It is not about making a decision on everything, just notice where you can make those decisive, quick decisions and clear the deck.

The overarching message here is to listen to the intuitive part of you. If you can see a solution immediately, then act. If you cannot see a solution then put the project, or worry, to one side. Today is not the day to act on that. The energy is one of identifying where you can clear some backlog.

    Why clear that backlog?

    • Make a decision on something, act on it, finish it, and you have space for something new.
    • Delve into a project you have been avoiding you will see the solution to the reason you abandoned it, your mind can rest because I can guarantee it has been trying to solve something in the back of your mind since inception.
    • See the project or worry for what it is, it may need to be abandoned for good, and act accordingly.

You can access the energy of the Knight of Swords this week by meditating on the image or allowing your Solar Plexus talk to you
    (FEEL IT).
If it feels ok, then follow through, if not, then surrender. The Solar Plexus governs the mind, the thoughts, give your mind a break and listen. Use your feelings. Learn the language of the soul.

This weeks energy favours clearing, not dwelling.

Lets talk about The SOUL PURPOSE CARD - KNIGHT OF CUPS

I love that this card has come up. It drives us to pursue our dreams. Sometimes by itself it can be a little distracting because it can lead us down a garden path to unrealistic outcomes which can be very disheartening.

However with the Knight of Swords as an influence it will shine a bright light on the dreams that are sustainable.

By following the guidance of the weekly forecast you will be in the best position to take up the reins of those dreams and make something of them.

It’s time to take yourself seriously and give those dreams a go. They are there, tugging away at your subconscious for a reason.

Is it because you are supposed to try something that has been embedded in you since before you were born?

The Knight of Cups is the energy of the Third Eye, the ability to visualise your future. To activate your third eye I recommend using a crystal such as Angelite, Clear Quartz or Labradorite. Program your crystal to access the psychic realms. Ask it to show you clearly what dreams are sustainable and attainable. You will know because your whole of body will relax into the idea with certainty.

In essence, this week is about decisive action guided by intuition. Clear the clutter and pursue your dreams with focus. It's time to turn your passions into reality.

How to look professional - a guide to powerful tools that create a deep spiritual connection.

    Picture
Beginning your spiritual journey to channeling impactful readings and healings can seem intimidating.
Luckily, there are a vast range of powerful tools we can harness as readers and healers that create avenues for deep spiritual connection with clients, and unlock our innermost truth.

In my spiritual journey, I have discovered that different modalities work best for particular purposes when channeling for a client or seeking healing for myself. My first love is, of course, my tarot deck. Then came oracle cards, crystals, pendulums, then books (even books are a tool!).
So much goodness was found through these tools, and I don’t know about you, but once I started I found it difficult to curb my enthusiasm… too many card decks!

Knowing what spiritual tool is right for you depends on, but is not limited to, what you want to use it for. Let’s begin with the four pillars of our Self, what spiritual tools work best and why.

The Body is the container for the human experience. The body is fundamental to creating a strong basis for any spiritual evolution. We hold our memories in our physical selves, not just the mind, and anything that feels a little bit different will spook us. Spiritual tools that are tactile work best and anchor you to the physical realm.. Crystals are ideal to connect us to our physical selves as they are of the earth. They feel safe and their properties connect the unknown universal energy to our earthly experience. They are an extension of ourselves; our family.

The Emotional Self is feelings that cannot be expressed through words. Articulating a message that is “felt” rather than “spoken” tends to fall flat. I don’t know how many times I find myself saying the same thing four different ways to clients and still feeling like I haven’t given it justice. Emotions are strongest when giving or receiving a healing. So, bypass those words and get straight to the “feels” with sound. When healing; crystal bowls, singing bowls, tuning forks and music are excellent ways to send your message. When reading; the best tools incorporate as much colour, texture and storytelling as possible such as tarot and oracle cards, emotion charts and aura photography.

The Mental Self puts up the biggest fight and strongest pushback when it comes to spiritual tools. Once you have strengthened the physical and emotional selves, the mind is easier to work with. The mind will lie, tell you you’re wrong and sabotage your efforts to work with spiritual tools. To work with the mind Self, you must speak your truth without mental interference. I find Tarot cards best: they reflect honestly without prejudice. We can attempt to skew what the card is showing, but the reading will fall flat. When confronted with the truth, anxiety and doubt disappear. You can use the tarot for healing as well as readings - there are no limits. Alternatively, for healing, journalling is a great spiritual tool.

The Spiritual Self is the realms of the mystic. Here everything is possible and undeniable. It speaks directly to the Higher Heart, beyond the Soul and straight to the source. To access this realm, even for a brief moment, can bring profound shifts. A couple of spiritual tools I recommend are incense or oils (smell/taste) and toning (sound). Spiritual tools using these senses must be used alongside meditation and energy healing, for example, to embed the “mystic” experience.
Once embedded in the Soul experience, they become triggers that immediately transport you to this special state. Try adding a scent or sound to your next healing or reading session and experiment when you need it in your daily life. Seek out a trained therapist for best results.

Spiritual tools are amazing when you see them working in action. It is witnessing your intuition in real time and validation and confidence grows with each connection. Over the years, many people have confided in me that they have abandoned these tools for a variety of reasons. Their reasons are valid, however I noticed a couple of underlying themes:

    • Fear from childhood conditioning. Religion, scary stories we are told as children and movies such as The Exorcist (yikes!)
    • Fear of the feeling that is associated with the connection to the spiritual tool. A thrill, or anticipation, that accompanies some readings is felt in the body and is associated with spirits and guides blending with our aura.
    • Frustration that the answers are not what was expected, getting bored with the whole thing and calling it fake.

Every one of these experiences are valid and true for the person involved, but it does not make it true for everyone. Some people resonate with their spiritual tools and some do not - it’s about finding the tools that are right for you. Here are some points to consider if you feel this way or are on the fence about using spiritual tools:
    • If you don’t like using them, then they are not for you. There are many other ways to connect to your spirit nature if you are serious about your Soul growth. These tools are only one avenue.
    • Spiritual tools are just that, tools. They hold no power over you or your practice. The power is in their innate nature and your connection with them activates your Divine Power. This requires Self Awareness and when you are ready the leap of growth that is required to work with the tools is provided at the perfect pace for your highest good.
    • The quickening in the physical body combined with the “out of body” sensations can seem like you are at the mercy of something “other”. This is the unconscious becoming conscious. It can feel very weird, so working with a mentor helps ease this process. You are never alone.

It all comes down to intent. What are your intentions for you soul growth, your intentions for yourself and how you wish you use the spiritual tools. Are you looking to help or control. They will expose you to your truth. Are you ready?

Time To Step Up! The Spiritual Warrior Emerging

    Image description

I’ve had chronic arthritis since I was 19 years old
. The arthritis was bad in my 20’s but the worst was yet to come, just as I began my spiritual journey.

Many painful truths had to be acknowledged. It sounds very dramatic and terrible…and it was.  The lie I lived was exposed to find my Divine Spark. I’m not going to sugar coat it, the Spiritual Path was cruel, devastating, rewarding and peaceful. All the wonderful and terrible things at once and I would not change a thing.

I found myself anxious, depressed, challenged by external influences, challenged by my own physical body, challenged by my own mental processes, anything that pushed me out of my comfort zone. I transformed that energy into healing. No-one did it for me. I wanted them to. I was angry and I wanted the teachers and healers to take it all away like they said they could. I was living as the victim and had to transform to the warrior.

You are your own healer. You have the power. You have the power to make the changes. You have the power to decide you want something better than what you have. You have the power to decide what is best for you. You have the power to make mistakes and amazing discoveries.
It”s not about working it out all at once. Decide! Decide that life has to be better than this. Tap into the power of the Spirit through meditation, tarot, reiki for example. Use the feeling you have in those moments to focus on your “Big Picture” This is how I learned to trust my intuition, my guides and my Spiritual Path.

Be prepared to change course! Using your Big Picture focus you have a sense of what is possible. You will get stuck, you will be confused, you will be stubborn. Be flexible. I always sat in the FEELING of my Big Picture when I was confused. What it LOOKS like will change as you go with the flow. The FEELING is important, it is your ANCHOR.

And you know what? I began to heal… I healed my Soul and I healed my life. My body still carries the arthritis. I don’t like it but I understand it’s true purpose.

Teachers, healers and gurus are there for guidance and support. They work beside you to find your personal relationship with your Body, Mind and Spirit. You will encounter loving and not so loving people. Each and every one of them are support, cheerleaders, or motivation.

Self Awareness is the greatest gift you can give to yourself. Knowing yourself and being honest with yourself is the only way to break those old patterns and begin to live your best life.

It’s time to become The Warrior

Time For A Change? The Path To Reinventing Yourself

    Image description

Hitting the reset button helps rejuvenate the parts of you that you can feel is pushing for a change. A very confronting experience when it originates in the very depth of your soul with very little specific information, its just a feeling.
When it is your business you will be feeling the need to refresh your current path or even take it in a whole new direction.
What about your job? Feel like changing or giving up altogether?

Often relationships come under the microscope when we feel like those we consider close friends no longer align with our current way of thinking. You might feel an impulse to take your passion and turn it into an income, which is always exciting and a bit scary.

All of these examples come down to one thing…your Self has evolved, or levelled up, and is adjusting to a different way of experiencing the world. Often the need to change comes after a big life event when we are plunged into extraordinary circumstances. We rally while the energy is high and then comes the moment after where we wonder what is next and how do we reconcile the wisdom we have gained. How do we reconcile this shift?

So, how to you embrace that opportunity with the least amount of resistance.

In my life and with my clients I have observed the cycle of discomfort to renewal. I am sharing the processes here and I have related them to the seven chakras. Each step is critical to the cycle of renewal. How you experience it is personal so remember to be patient with yourself.
With each step I have included a meditation to help you...
#1 Feeling restless. I often get that fidgety feeling that something is not quite right, like I have forgotten something. This is the Crown Chakra downloading inspiration and it requires some stillness to listen, listen with the heart. Observing the world  through this filter fires up the imagination and when tuned in you will begin to see inspiration everywhere. Now, where to place it….

    CROWN CHAKRA ACTIVATION

    00:00
    00:00

    Activating the crown chakra

#2 Feeling envious or admiration of another. Have you ever seen or learned of someone’s achievements and realised you could actually do that? It is not always an heroic feeling yet here we are being nudged to acknowledge our own talents. The Brow Chakra is revealing what is possible through your imagination, placing you front and centre. If you can visualise yourself in their place or dream of yourself doing the same thing you are more than capable of creating this for yourself. You’ve got this!

    THIRD EYE CHAKRA ACTIVATION

    00:00
    00:00

    Third eye chakra activation

#3 Meeting people of like mind, finding your tribe. Serendipity? Yes! Finding your tribe is such a blessing. People who speak your language and really get you. Through your Throat Chakra you are able to articulate your desires and build trust in yourself. Your tribe will reflect your ideas and you will gain strength from their support.

    THROAT CHAKRA ACTIVATION

    00:00
    00:00

    Throat chakra activation

#4 How do you feel when you are living your passion? Compliments flow and there is a  satisfied feeling from living your dream. Here the Heart Chakra is functioning at its optimum level. Feelings of absolute joy and vulnerability abound here, be fully immersed. The heart is the compass of the Soul. From this point on you may want to turn your passion into something bigger, something to share with a greater audience, maybe a business

    HEART CHAKRA ACTIVATION

    00:00
    00:00

    Heart chakra activation

#5 Tools and real time opportunities just turn up! Wow! how I love it when ideas flow and I succeed, materials I require abound and the right support appears just when I need it in real time. I expand what I am doing and share it with others who find value in my efforts. This is the Solar Plexus working hard to actualise your dreams. Lean into it and let go.

    SOLAR PLEXUS ACTIVATION

    00:00
    00:00

    Solar Plexus Activation

#6 Making a difference in someones life. Pure joy by just being yourself. Gaining a deep sense of satisfaction from your actions when someone you have helped moves on in their lives, stronger and richer from the shared experience. This creates a strong bond with your Divine Self where joy and gifts manifest tenfold to reward you for following your heart. This is the Sacral Chakra connecting you to the most intimate part of you, observing yourself through a connection with another. Without the work achieved from the above points the deep connection would never exist.

    SACRAL CHAKRA ACTIVATION

    00:00
    00:00

    Sacral Chakra Activation

#7 So here you are rejuvenated and renewed. Shedding the old and glowing within a journey well travelled. Here is the Base Chakra feeling safe and secure, a sense of purpose and control. Here you become the master of your reinvention until, like the Wheel Of Fortune, the next iteration begins its gentle call from within.

    BASE CHAKRA ACTIVATION

    00:00
    00:00

    Base Chakra Activation

If you are still unsure where you are or feel unclear where you are on this journey you can do each of the meditations in turn. The meditation that is difficult to complete will be a clue. Repetition is a great way to shift the energy of the chakra and I recommend you continue until you feel clear and calm before moving to the next Chakra.

Learning to be fearless about your future and compassionate towards your gentle heart.

Words are important and recognising phrases such as stuck in a rut, self sabotage, fear of change are clues you are in the resistant portion of this renewal.
You could cut and run, give up, do the same old thing expecting the same results, or… you could recognise the feeling of discomfort, work with it and lessen the anxiety it creates. When you accept this is your intuition letting you know change is in play life does become much easier, I promise.
I am the queen of reinvention. And I have been reflecting on my own life changes while writing this article. Over my lifetime I have shed many layers I have used to protect myself which, in turn,  brought a deeper connection to my purpose. It is something that continues this whole life, and into the next.

Once upon a time I struggled. These days I prefer to lean into them as they emerge. I find it makes my life much simple. Also, I don’t like losing days to endless overthinking.

The evolved Soul can feel the shift and lean into it with grace. You can consciously create the direction of your reinvention. When you realise what you have control over it connects you to your Soul power and not only provides motivation, it gives hope for the future.

7 powerful goal setting exercises guaranteed to make 2022 your best year

    Picture
Kick start 2022 by jumping into the driver seat, and GO….

I always love the ending of one year and the beginning of another.

For me, personally, the renewal energy is very strong as my birthday is January 3rd (I am entering in to a Personal Year #1)

Here I share some tried and tested (with my clients and by me) strategies that will help you soar into your best year ever.
    1. Get Clear
A simple method to focus and refine your future Self and goals. It is powerful and I use it when I feel my Soul shifting direction. It’s not the law of attraction, it’s more like the law of becoming.
    • Begin by writing a list of things you know you can, want or dream of becoming. Your list is part of your subjective self and is definitely wrapped up in emotions and wants. Let those emotions flow, write as broadly or as detailed as you please.
    • Read your list every morning and every evening.
    • Do not show anyone your list.
    • Change and refine as often as you need.
    • Let your list evolve as time passes and your goals are reached
Your list is part of your subjective mind connecting you to the deep knowledge of your Soul and your Soul Journey. Your daily practice of focus and refinement prompts your objective mind to recognise and act on opportunities. Forget about trying to work out why or how to manipulate the outcome, please give thanks to all, and make your list the best things you’d like to attract (it is just as easy to attract misery, so be clear)

My friends, here is the magic…The Divine Intelligence of the Universe or Spirit World is waiting and willing to assist you in all ways. It is now up to you to take advantage of the opportunities when they appear. **

Before you journey there are a few things to prepare. This exercise is part of Soul Recall Therapy. Here is a guided meditation to assist you to walk into your future. 3. Find a Coach or Mentor
I have always found the greatest relief when I am able to discuss my ideas or my blockages with someone who knows the ins and outs of my industry or has the counselling knowledge to guide me to my own answers.
This is beyond getting advice from friends, this is reaching for professional assistance. We do not live in a vacuum and finding an understanding heart relieves the crushing helplessness of isolation.
Find someone who aligns with your energy. You are wasting your time if you are not speaking the same language and while the shiniest may look great it may not be for you, be discerning.
Shop around for whomever shares your vision and will launch you there and beyond. You will know in your heart when you meet them.
It is then a small leap from here to connect with your tribe and the sense of community required to stay accountable.
And finally, if you are tired of constantly failing or if you have tried all the self help versions and don’t know where else to turn, investing in coach or mentor is priceless.

    4. Have a decision to make?
Take a few deep breaths and place your head in your heart with your question. Your body will let you know yes or no by relaxing or tensing. Your body is your intuition, not your mind.
Follow this link for a 5 minute guided meditation to assist with this exercise and once mastered it is a simple and quick check-in.

    5. Find an Accountability Friend
It is important to be honest with yourself about what is achievable. When you make the realisation of your dreams dependant on “having” this one thing, or will not happen until we “learn” everything, or are “fully” healed, we are purposefully putting up barriers.

How committed are you to achieving your goals?

Complete a stocktake of your resources and ask a friend to help, one that is not afraid to tell you the truth.
An accountability buddy is a fabulous asset and will definitely get you past that finish line.
Don’t forget to return the favour. All friends together!

    6. Empty The Trash

Are you finding your ideas are so amazing, you feel it on a Soul level but still falter when it comes to stepping into those opportunities?

Our mind can be the most amazing cheerleader and the most devastating critic. This exercise, The Morning Pages, is from a book called “The Artists Way” by Julia Cameron.

This exercise works and is something I practice and wholly endorse. There is nothing else I have come across or could have created that comes close to this. I write every morning and it helps by over-riding any self doubt.

The short version: Write three pages of rambling thoughts every morning before you even contemplate beginning your day. Do not re-read your thoughts for at least 8 weeks, if at all. Keep them in a notebook or place them in an envelope. Do this every day without fail. The results are amazing! **
    Picture

**Source: “The Artists Way” by Julia Cameron

    7. Letting Go

Recognising when plans are not working and letting them go is just as powerful as pushing through. Mind your energy reserves and make regular checkpoints to assess progress and commitment.

Is there a change of direction needed? Has this goal run its course? Sometimes the original “inspiration” was a launch point and the “failed” plan was the step towards the main event?

Understanding your attachment to any outcome can assist in determining whether your plan is ready to be abandoned or adjusted. Self awareness rules here.

I have a simple exercise to check using your chakras to check where your idea may be blocked. From this you can decide how you want to proceed or to heal the blockage.

When you are ready to give your idea an incredible boost and are ready to work with me to reach your full potential follow this link to BOOK A SESSION

Anger ~ It's An Emotion Not An Action

    Picture
I think this is a great way to start a conversation about anger. Anger is not an action, it is an emotion which is one of the body’s neurological responses to stress. When we feel anger it is essential to our survival. It responds to fear.

The physiological responses of bunched muscles, increased heart rate, rapid breathing, just to name a few put us in a state of high alert, ready for action, until we locate the cause of the anger/fear.

So what happens next. A while ago it was considered bad form to feel and express anger. We were told it was a sign of weakness, that we must transmute it into love or something more passive.

In recent times it is recognised how important it is to recognise and express all of our emotions, even anger. So why does anger feel so scary and why do we, at first, want to push it away?

Anger is usually associated with fear. If we face our anger, we must also confront a fear. If your anger is sustainable it will override any anxiety about what we are facing. Perhaps deep down we know the need to release the physical reactions will give us relief.

If your anger is short lived and you are left with the fear or anxiety. This is uncomfortable and you may want to push down the fear/anxiety, forget it ever existed, or talk yourself out of it. This could lead to your anger being with you for longer.

Unexpressed anger could manifest as physical and/or emotional symptoms. For myself, my personal health issues, stem from unexpressed anger.

I remember in my 20’s when I would have an anger release how much my chronic pain receded and how good I felt. It was a revelation… I used my anger to stop fooling myself that my life was going to improve and faced the truth of my situation. I used the momentum of my anger to facilitate change. Every time fear rose up, the anger overtook it. I was tired of making excuses for other peoples poor behaviour but mostly I was tired of making myself small to accommodate that poor behaviour. In a way, my anger made me large and imposing. My anger helped me feel invincible. I was tapped into my truth and nothing could hurt me in that moment.

I have seen this played out by the incredible Grace Tame, the current Australian of The Year. You can see her anger is being channelled in a very healthy way. You can see how articulate she is, she does not back down and continues to support herself in every sense.

This is what a healthy response to anger gives us. It gives us the power to maintain the courage of our convictions because it is YOUR TRUTH, and no longer will you fall into oppression.

Once you feel this amazing innate power you will never forget how strong you were and your energetic vibrations increases, you release another layer and move towards your true nature. You can draw on this memory to never feel that fear again. That is the true gift of anger. You connect to a greater part of you that nothing and nobody will ever violate again. You can build on this feeling because if you can do it once and survive the process then you must be able to apply it again when needed.

    With love
    Vicki xx

P.S. I do not wish to make light of anger expression when some of us have incredible difficulty verbalising our pain. Ancestral conditioning or even past life repression can be the source of this fear and this type of anger expression and/or release requires specific therapies.
